Life on Probation

I committed several crimes. All of which had to deal with embezzling. Like any other crime, I was c
aught and went through the god awful experience of sitting in jail for two weeks, and now I will be on probation for the next 20 years of my life. Of course I am paying restitution for the money that I stole. I never thought that my life would come to this. I have to live with my parents, I don't have a car, I really don't have a life. My probation officer has decided that I take random (pretty much every day) breathalyzers, and besides seeing the PO and my counselor, I simply go to work. Of course, the police department does random searches oft home, which they find nothing, and that's life. I don't even think about dating yet, as I don't know where to begin. How do you tell someone that you are a convicted felon with 20 years for a sentence?? A bit hard to swallow for any guy. I didn't make the decision to take the money purposely. My fiancé died and I was overwhelmed with debt. It was the worst decision of my life and because if it I have lost friends, family and freedom. Think before you take those 100 dollar bills just sitting there....
Taylor lives in the beautiful state of Montana (The Last Best Place) with her beloved pug, Thornton. She is addicted to skiing and everything outside. She hopes to one day find the love of her life and start a family.

Hi Taylor. I do hope and pray things turn around for you. Each of us have to pay the price of our choices - but this doesn't have to keep us down. Learn all you can, look to the best and work toward a better tomorrow. Time and your everyday life style will tell others whether or not you have learned and will make better choices. In the right timing, the right person will come along. Thank you for sharing and encouraging others to make a good choice. Blessings to you, Teresa
